Our Team
The team at AHC has some 35 years of experience on both sides of the spectrum.
Our principal, Daphne Turner, was an international student herself, living and studying languages and hotel business and management abroad.Her career spans the hotel, airline and film industry.Hosting students in her home since 1990 in 1995 she became a preferred supplier of TAFE NSW to look after the welfare and accommodation for international students.
Daughters Victoria and Chloe were brought up in a multicultural environment assisting their mother Daphne to ease visitors to their home into the Australian way of life, learning the language and culture.
Eldest daughter Victoria has spent time abroad working in hospitality. As a supervisor she will be communicating with the host families and the students assuring a quality homestay experience.
Youngest daughter Chloe has worked in the hospitality industry in Australia and visits host prior to the students’ arrival to ensure requirements are met. Her criteria based on what she learned at home from an early age.
