Joining as a WAHN host
Whether you're an experienced Homestay Host or someone who's new to Homestay in Australia, you can easily join the WA Homestay Network and our WAHN Accommodation staff will supervise your application, and match you with a suitable student.
To join WAHN you must complete the 3 step application process:
- Complete the 1st step of the Host application form located here
- On the 2nd step, answer the first question as follows: If you are an existing Host for WAHN Accommodation, choose 'Yes' for the first question, and then choose WA Homestay Network from the drop down menu that appears. If however you are new to Homestay, choose 'No' for the first question, and 'WAHN Accommodation' for the second.
- Click Continue, and then fill out the form on for the 3rd step.
After you have completed the application form, an email will be sent to your inbox that requires you to confirm your email address. Click the link in this email. Once you have done this, you will be logged into the system and you will soon be contacted by a representative from WAHN.
To become a fully accredited host, you will be asked to undergo training and complete an online assessment. After this a WAHN representative will visit you to inspect your home.
