Homestay House Rules

Clear House Rules are to be set down for all students.

Students should inform Homestay Providers of their whereabouts and be contactable at all times.

Students who repeatedly fail to comply with Homestay House Rules may be removed from the Homestay and can have their enrolment to the Foundation Year cancelled.

The Student Services Officers and the Australian Homestay Network allocated supervisor are to be contacted if a student fails to return at night to the Homestay.

The Homestay Provider should discuss the IES-approved house rules with the student during the initial stages of arrival.

Disputes over house rules are to be resolved by the Homestay provider and students.

Where intervention is required in exceptional circumstances, the IES Student Services Officers decision is final and reserves the right to remove the student from the Homestay.
