Working with Children Qualification

AHN requires all hosts, regardless of the age of the students, to hold a current blue card as issued by the Commissioner for children and young people and child guardians.  This applies to any permanent residents in the home, 18 years or older.

The Volunteer Form required for hosting Under 18 students in a homestay situation is available by going to the below link and opening the Volunteer Blue Card  Application link.

AHN can sign off on the blue card for you.  This can be done at the Interview stage of the Host Application or by calling into our office between 8.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
