Adjusting to Life in Australia

When you first arrive in Australia you will notice that many of the things you observe and experience will be considerably different from your home country.

Please remember that there is no right or wrong, only different.

Initially you may find it relatively hard to adapt to your new home and you may feel homesick. Being away from home can sometimes make you feel lonely and sad but it is important to remember that this is a normal experience for people when they first arrive in a new country.

It is important that you talk to people about how you are feeling. We hope that the following information may help you settle in and adapt to your new life in Australia.
